I. Administrative & Ceremonial Items

II. Governance & Public Hearings

• Redistricting for Council Districts: The City Council moved to "Introduce an ordinance and authorize a public hearing to consider the adoption of an ordinance to create council districts for the establishment of three districts, with a total of five council seats." One council member will be assigned to each district, based on their residency, and two council seats will remain at large. A public hearing for this ordinance is scheduled for May 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Court Room of the Municipal Building.
• Public Hearings for Noise Variance – T'quilas Bar & Grill:

• Disaster Debris Removal & Monitoring Contracts: Approved requests to "approve and enter into contracts for RFP 25-01 (Disaster Debris Removal) with Ceres Environmental & RFP 25-02 (Disaster Debris Monitoring) with Thompson Consulting Services."
• Vortex Grit Removal System Rehab-2025: Approved and awarded the contract for Vortex Grit Removal System Rehab-2025 to L. King Company, LLC for $389,396.00.
• Travelling Bridge Sand Filter Rehab-2025: Approved and awarded the contract for Travelling Bridge Sand Filter Rehab-2025 to L. King Company, LLC for $495,170.40.

V. City Asset Management & Operations

• Surplus of Counter/Sink from Old City Hall: Approved the request to surplus of counter/sink with cabinets from Old City Hall.
• Surplus Fire Unit #619-2002 HME pumper: Approved the request to surplus Fire Unit #619-2002 HME pumper VIN 44KFT42821WZ19432 that was totaled in an accident on 5/28/24.
• Disposal of Rockwell 415 Gas Meters: Approved the request to dispose of the attached list of Rockwell 415 Gas Meters, no longer used by the City.
• Phone Service Account for Old City Hall: Approved the request to move phone service account for Old City Hall from AT&T to Benecom, saving approximately $960/year.
• Microsoft Products and Service Agreement: Approved authorization for Mayor Gerard Landry to enter into a Microsoft Products and Service Agreement allowing GovConnection to sell the City Microsoft Licenses.
